Hey everyone! We've seen a lot of reports about crashing and sessions failing to load. Currently we have an issue where the holograms for Connector Pipes are not clearing before they're saved. This leads to a duplication glitch where the game eventually tries to load in lots and lots of actors when you load a save file. This leads to crashing. We're working on a fix right now and hope to have it out within the next few hours, so sit tight! Thank you for everyone who's reported the issue.

@wintersmith81 We're looking into it for after 1.0 is out! Currently Switch 2 dev kits are quite tricky to get access to.

No way to transfer saves, but you could make Shared copies of your Xbox save files and join them via your Steam account. If you do this you will retain everything about the world state (completed deliveries, amount of days, buildings etc) but not your character progression (completed quests, mech upgrades, loadouts etc). It will be like you're a new player joining the save for the first time. To make this transition a bit easier, you could recycle your crafted Parts and Mods and put them in storage so you can easily re-craft everything. Hope that helps!

@stp366 @Coffee_Stain We're looking into porting after the 1.0 release! Sony generally does not allow Early Access games on PSN.

@JordanBKelly Understandable! We still have some stuff left in Early Access, so if the Automation Update today doesn't hook you then I hope 1.0 will! We won't be adding combat, but we're looking at improving the boulders, floaters, tornadoes etc to make exploration more engaging.

@PlayLightyear I played the game a few times now and I enjoy it alot but without like combat and more unique things for actual survival it's just.....not done in my eyes

Hey Exofarmers. After two years, our deal with Microsoft is ending and Lightyear Frontier will be leaving Game Pass on 15 March 2026. Lightyear Frontier will be 40% off on the Microsoft Store from 10 March - 23 March to help with the transition. We will keep updating the Xbox version with updates and patches. It’s been a great ride, and we would not have been able to make Lightyear Frontier without Microsoft’s help!

@EternalRhage No new achievements in this update! Achievements can't be changed once they're implemented, so we've been careful about adding them during Early Access so they don't block us from making changes if needed. We know a lot of y'all want 'em though, so we're gonna add more for 1.0!

@PlayLightyear Does the new update add achievements? The last one did not, and it was harder to lure my buddies back into playing with me despite how much we enjoyed it the first time around.
