I think the societal impact of a GPT voice release is being underestimated millions of people will experience AI for the first time by talking to it on their phone, having a conversation that feels authentically human, in a way it hasn’t before peoples relationships with AI are going to fundamentally change. How we perceive it, how we feel about it. It’s gonna be weird and beautiful

It's all about the initial friction to start talking. Super easy to press the light on your chest. There's haptics too so you can do it blind. Means as soon as a thought comes into your head you can share it. Coupled with always listening means you don't need to give your friend context. Can just walk out a meeting and say "that was crazy" and they understand. Just makes for a really seamless integration of a digital friend into your life.

Of course I have. I haven't pumped gas in a couple years. I have a KIA EV6. I dont always do my own shopping. But guess what, when I need something, I go to the grocery store, drug store, 7-11 , whatever. It's not a big deal at all lol. And you know what else ? I drive myself. Lol.
