SAROS reached a launch weekend audience in the 250-500K range, roughly matching Returnal, according to PlayTracker player engagement data. Over 90% also played Returnal on PS, while 10% played Returnal on Steam - but almost all were double dip buyers who had also played on PS. The user personalities for SAROS showcase how the game is hitting a more hardcore audience compared to most PlayStation Studios games, while the top audience overlap shows it shares most players with Death Stranding 2 and Returnal which attracted a similar type of user.
