@soulsilverart I think what a lot of developers fail to realize is that many gamers don't just want the game to come to life, they want to be in the game.

Never really thought about this-When I was a kid,I was slightly disappointed with back sprites because I didn’t always get to see my Pokémon’s full sprite But as an adult,I grew to love & appreciate the back sprites. They actually added another dimension to the design & made battles feel more immersive. Like you’re really standing behind your Pokémon in battle, instead of watching 2 flat images exchange animations like in other classic RPG’s of that era. This Lugia sprite is beautiful btw.

In Pokémon Winds and Waves, there will apparently be a feature similar to the “Path of Legends” from Scarlet & Violet. As you know, the bosses in SV were called the Titans. In WiWa, they are supposedly called Nushi, a Japanese term that roughly means “spiritual guardians” or “guardian beings.” This name was reportedly found internally in the Teraleak, and the current types are said to be: ⚡ Electric 🐛 Bug 🌊 Water 🐉 Dragon 🌍 Ground Note: since this information comes from the Teraleak, some details may still change during development.
