@_HockeyTonk I wouldn’t say fans have turned on him, but were incredibly disappointed that he really only showed his potential at the Olympics, and even when paired with Miro/Nils he never got to the bar he’s set for himself. Add in $$ problems for next year and it’s raised concern for some

I’m sorry you feel that way, but Harley is a top D-Pairing on almost any other team in the NHL.
He was
a) injured for part of the season
b) paired with 7th defensemen like Lyubushkin, Petrovic, and Myers at multiple points this season
Not sure why the fans have turned on him

Jim Nill also mentioned that Jamie Benn will remain captain if he returns to Dallas next season.
Nill has 3-4 players he has been thinking about as the next captain, but wouldn't share names. I imagine Johnston, Rantanen, and Heiskanen are among those. Maybe Robertson, too.

@JuroKral I’d say it’s a pick-em between Faksa and Steel on who to trade but I’d probably lean towards Steel

The key decision really is admitting that signing Radek Faksa was a mistake and moving on from him (again).
Trading Lyubushkin is also obvious to everybody.
These two moves will essentially allow them to fit Robertson and Bourque and the rest under the cap.
