Tooling like asD enhances dApps' capabilities to direct native yield and manage protocol treasuries • Contract Secured Revenue (CSR): An opt-in fee splitting model that relays to developers to a percentage of any transaction fees paid to the network when users interact with their Canto-based decentralized applications And much more being built behind the scenes, with synergistic value propositions to Cadence 🎙️ What is Neofinance? Neofinance represents a new era of financial efficiencies unlocked at scale by deploying real world assets on protocol rails This aims to bring traditional financial assets on chain and to enable time to access blockchain-specific advantages For example, Canto’s Neofinance framework enables KYC’ed users to purchase treasuries with higher yields than their borrow rate, which can be amplified through leverage On the other side, non-KYC'ed users can earn yield on their underlying NOTE supplied to the Canto lending market as shown below 🎶 How does this benefit Cadence? The Canto interface (canto.io) was not impacted by the recent Ledger ConnectKit exploit. To further ensure security, we've updated wagmi to the recommended release v1.4.12, which removes all ConnectKit dependencies.

We're thrilled to announce Canto is building with @0xPolygonLabs to migrate to a ZK L2 on Ethereum– powered by Polygon Chain Development Kit (CDK). This ZK chain will be dedicated to Real World Assets in support of the next wave of application-layer adoption via neofinance.

Along with an increase in trading volume, we've seen the amount of liquidity provided to the Canto DEX grow. Currently, there's over $119M in liquidity on the Canto DEX.

Users have saved millions due to the Canto DEX having no swap fees. If we assume a 0.3% fee for volatile pairs, and 0.05% fee for stable pairs, users have saved over $4.1M in 2023 so far.
