When the Celtics lose anti analytics crowd don’t even analyze the game they just say “they shoot too many threes”. They could’ve shot league average attempts, had 35 turnovers, fouled every play, gave up 30 offensive boards, stars played trash, etc.. you’ll just hear about threes

Let me spell it out for you You can have a bad possession/process and still make a shot. That doesn't make the play good You can have a great possession/process and still miss the shot. That doesn't make the play bad Hitting a player in rhythm, who shoots 48% from the corners and 50% form that specific corner, is not a bad play just because the shot missed.

So in your opinion, when Payton Pritchard caught the ball wide open in the corner, he shouldn't have taken that 3 because they had missed previous shots? Or when Jaylen took that 3 from the top of the arc that rolled out, he should have driven into the defense/traffic for a contested 2pt FGA? That can be how you feel, I just don't agree. Plays aren't good or bad based on the result imo For example, some of the midrange jumpers Jaylen made down the stretch were heavily contested 2s through contact, that just so happen to go in. Is that a better shot than an open 3? Why? Because it went in?
