@NintenDeenYT Calendar 2017’s game lineup puts Switch 2s first year in the ground and it’s not even close

Switch 1 did ~2.3M in its first holiday compared to the ~1.5M of the Switch 2. This doesn't surprise me at all.

Told you this thing has had an abysmal first year lineup. It’s been a flood of C tier IPs and filler since Bananza and they skipped a general direct. They have nothing.

@TheMovieHero90 More people would buy one if there was actually big games with wide appeal. Tomadachi (not exclusihe to Switch 1) Yoshi, Air Riders, Hyrule Warriors 3, a lukewarm received Prime 4 and Tennis ain’t it.

@Wario64 People claiming the lack of directs meanwhile everyone I know is financially struggling and cant warrent the price of a new game console. They would buy if things were more affordable. I am the only one I know irl who bought one.

@NoponDigi The one in September was a lot of repeat information and not having one in February is extremely rough. There’s nothing “big” since Donkey Kong back in July last year and nothing even on the calendar outside of Fire Emblem and Pokemon (2027).

We're still waiting on that general Nintendo direct folks have been craving for since this year started.
