Here’s the thing: James Gunn’s Supergirl could have started out HAPPY. She could be a non-drinker. She could sing in the choir. She could mentor young girls. She could be in a loving relationship with a good man. She could have a genuinely wonderful life… …and then, when something threatens Earth, she springs into action. That’s what a true hero does. Instead, she’s the opposite of all that — a hard-drinking, cynical, messed-up anti-hero with heavy baggage. And we’re apparently supposed to root for her JUST because she’s a woman. But here's the other thing: she's NOT a woman. She's the angry feminist's caricature of a woman. Not hot enough to attract the male gaze. Not feminine enough to bring the female audience. In other words: FLOP INCOMING.

Obnoxious know-it-all invert astrophysicist Neil DeGrasse Tyson insists the earth is round, but there's no denying 'wife' Alice Young's clavicles are flat as a board 😁

Today the fake news will have fake coverage of the fake astro-nots faking a return from fake space in their fake space capsule. Fake NASA will then flood us with even more fake photos of this fake historic fake journey, and all the fakers involved will fake cheer and fake congratulate themselves for a fake job well faked.

Narrator: They actually never went away. They are somewhere in the US, under tight security but with access to blue screens and writers of cheesy scripts, waiting for their make up artistes to give them that 'just been to the moon' look for 'splashdown'.
NASA@NASA

They're halfway home. The Artemis II astronauts have hit the "halfway" mark between the Moon and the Earth. They will splash down in the Pacific Ocean around 8:07 pm ET on Friday, April 10 (0007 UTC on Saturday, April 11), off the coast of San Diego.

We’re halfway there. At the time of posting this, the Artemis II mission is about halfway to the Moon. When the astronauts arrive, they will conduct a lunar flyby and collect scientific observations of the Moon’s surface.

Not one star. 60 years of technological progress with cameras… And not one star. I’ve heard all the explanations for this… None make any sense.

@naomirwolf The sun, dark side of the moon doesn't mean it's in darkness, it's an incorrect phrase.

@ManuchoEmanuel @_AGHAZZY @NASAArtemis You're overthinking it, suns too far away, since we seeing earth in almost full daylight sun is somewhere behind the camera, cameras are fixed on the solar panels.
