But if you just dig a little deeper you will find a tragic story about shame and acceptance that is relatable to a lot of people nowadays.

Herzog’s film didn’t rely on cliches or murky look but philosophy. Nowadays, the only art house style guy I feel something from is Denis Villeanueve. Eggers is too much excess much like Nolan, Peele or Shymalan type.
