no millennial trope has broken more brains than "you don't owe anybody anything". an ignoble, selfish narcissism dressed up in therapy-speak about boundaries and self-care in order to give yourself a pass from treating other people with a basic level of care and respect

NEVER take antibiotics Do not listen to Redditors telling you it will fix “SIBO” “acne” or some other chronic health problem you have It will only make it WORSE long term Antibiotics damage your gut bacteria & it takes the body 4-8 years to repair it Similar to how seed oils (PUFAs) need 4-8 years to be fully eliminated from your fat cells 1. Stop eating cooked foods 2. Eat: - Raw Dairy (Cheese, Milk, etc) - Raw Beef - Raw Honey - Raw Fruits (organic) 3. Avoid plastic & industrial chemicals 4. Get a Sun Lamp, 5mins per day (or real sun) 5. IR Red Light (or morning sun) Pretty much all health issues will solve on their own

Antibiotic use has been linked to changes in the gut’s bacterial species that can last for four to eight years go.nature.com/4sXwpIi

@HSchenewark No one's paying 15 dollars to rent a fucking folding table

1. Most of the people who rent these tables are doing it for yard sales. Second most common reason is for birthday parties. 2. We've only had one customer return the tables later than expected. She rented several for a bachelorette party, and ended up losing her thumb riding a mechanical bull. Gnarly. She kept in contact with us during the 2 or 3 weeks it took for her to bring them back. Her friend eventually returned them. We didn't charge her extra and were much more worried about her than the tables. 3. 90% of people pick it up from our porch and drop if off. Occasionally we'll do drop off and pick up. We'll usually charge $10 extra for that. We've never had tables stolen by customers or off our porch. We had some returned when we were out of town and when we returned two weeks later, they were still there. 4. The rentals are overwhelmingly for the weekend. What this means is that a lot of people hold onto them for a week. We don't need them back Monday morning, so if they drop them off on Wednesday, that's great. 5. There's no paperwork, this is a low-stakes, high-trust arrangement. 6. Most people rent multiple. More people rent 4 than 1. If you only need one table, than you'll buy one or make do without it. I also wouldn't want to do this for $15/interaction. When the average ticket if $40-60, that makes it more worthwhile. 6. We wipe the tables off but we've never had one returned dirty. Some come back dusty from the yard sales but that's it. 7. There's better ways to make money. I run my own company, so I understand the basics of business. However, I still think this is one of the easiest. You could scale with chairs and set-up and take-down or adding other options, but I'm not interested in that. The money pays for date night and we've met great people which is nice. That's all we want to get out of it. If you like learning about business, follow me as I'll continue to share the highs and lows and journey of building my asphalt company.

This is the easiest side-hustle ever. Pick up a couple of these from Costco, post on Facebook marketplace and rent out for $15/each. We rent them almost every week from now through the end of summer. They’re on sale at Costco and we just picked up a couple more. You won’t get rich with 8 tables, but it’s about as passive as income will ever be.

@djvlad Or you can mortgage a house not rent and also invest in the stock market

Here's a way better way to buy a house than getting a bank mortgage. Instead of putting a big down payment, take that money and invest it in great stocks for 10 years. During that time, rent a place to stay. For anyone who thinks you're throwing money away by renting, keep in mind that almost the entire mortgage payment you pay during that time is going to the bank's interest, not the principal. Your rent will probably be less than your mortgage payment + property tax + repairs. So use that extra money to buy more stocks. After 10 years, take a loan out against your stock portfolio and buy your house in cash. You will now own the house outright and have the deed - unlike getting a mortgage, where the bank holds the deed. Your loan rate will be WAY lower than a mortgage rate because it's secured by your stock portfolio. Also, you don't have to pay back the loan on a monthly schedule. You can pay it back at your own pace, or don't pay it back and let the interest accrue on the loan. You never have to worry about the bank taking your house if you miss a few mortgage payments like a bank loan. After it's all done, you own a house outright with a loan to yourself, and you never sold your stock portfolio, which keeps appreciating. BTW, that's exactly what I did.

There is something deeply refreshing about bypassing the dead choreography of ordinary conversation and moving directly toward what actually awakens curiosity about a person. “How are you?” has become such a ceremonious and exhausted question because the answer is almost always prefabricated and socially managed. I used to ask people what they think about death and I picked that up after realizing that as a 9 year old, I could speak about death endlessly, which disturbed some people but later it became fascinating to discover how many were actually open to it. They were even relieved and it was as though the question caught them in place, returned them to themselves, and interrupted the usual flow of conversational pretence. They felt real for a momen. I think we should do this more often, and even infact make a list of such questions so we can touch each other's souls. 💗

There are literally millions of Americans dying of Cancer currently with nothing else to lose and no family. It isn't any actual incentive or threat stopping people. Its their own morality. A people with actual warrior values would be free. This is why I hate Abrahamic religions... They say that instead of the highest Ideals: Vengeance, honor, and eternal glory are somehow shameful. That our would-be Samurai, vigilantes, avengers, last-standers, chargers, berserkers, and heroes should be ASHAMED at their rage and desire to see their enemies crushed even if it should cost them their lives. It is an ideology for limp wristed cowards who have no daring and fear those who do. Rome was a greater civilization than Jerusalem, and everything learnt from those spiteful desert dwellers dirtied and tarnished western civilization... The rot in the hull of the ship. The rust in the tang of the blade. Hate is greater than love. Love is indeed meassured by one's capacity to hate that which threatens what one loves Hate is indeed the only thing that creates beauty The gardener does not coo and caress to make his flowers to grow... Flowers do that on their own. The Gardener cuts down the weeds and kills the rodents. A Great man tends very large garden indeed.

A fat man knows he is fat. He does not delude himself into thinking otherwise. He accepts it and often does not even mind being identified with it. A fat woman, on the other hand, is anything but that. She will refuse to see herself as fat and will be deeply offended should anyone address her as such. In fact, if you attempt to tell her she is fat, she will take offense and quickly label it body shaming, as though her weight were an injustice inflicted upon her rather than a condition she helped create.

I watched a toddler drop her ice cream in the parking lot yesterday. Full meltdown. Her dad didn't rush to fix it. Didn't offer solutions. He just sat down on the hot asphalt next to her and said, "That really sucks, doesn't it?" They sat there together for a full minute. She was crying. He was sad with her. Then she took his hand and said, "Can we go home now?" I've been thinking about it all day. Maybe the best thing you can offer someone isn't a solution, just your presence.

@PoetOfMan @DankNDerpyGamer @beyoncegarden "It'S tHe KeeP rIgHT lAW" you must be the kind of dipshit that weaves through traffic and speed around town just to get to a red light first. You keep to the speed limit and maintain the flow of traffic between lights when in town. It's not a passing lane.

@PoetOfMan @DankNDerpyGamer @beyoncegarden Can you find the actual law, not just some fuckwads youtube video. He first makes a left turn at traffic lights, there are buildings off to the left and he drives past a left and right turn before faking a left turn at another set of traffic lights. IT'S NOT A FREEWAY!
