Hi Friends! We've gained many more followers & wanted to re-introduce ourselves. Wend is run & edited by Denise Bickford (they/them/theirs) & Sam Campbell (he/him/his). Denise & Sam met in graduate school in Boise, Idaho & now live pretty far apart: Denise in TX & Sam in NV.

Denise Bickford is a queer poet from mid-coast Maine. Their work has been featured in Baest Journal & Foglifter among others. Their chapbook, Repka, is available through Dancing Girl Press. Currently, they work as a freelance copywriter in the Rio Grande Valley in Texas.

Sam Campbell grew up in the Cary, Illinois area & currently resides in Reno. His work has been nominated for the Best of the Net Anthology & can be found in the Sierra Nevada Review Yes, Poetry; & elsewhere. He teaches English at Western Nevada College.
