I've been on the @roblox platform for 15 years creating classic clothing & deving
During that time I have endured repeated theft of my items, watching others profit from my work and losing tens of thousands of irl $ income
This has caused me severe emotional & physical distress
I (and others) have been constantly ignored even after repeatedly complaining & offering roblox multiple viable solutions to this issue over the years
Moderation was in fact decreased and was automated rather than strengthened
They said it wouldnt happen with the 3D catalog - yet here we are and theft is still rampant across both 2D & 3D items
Punishing 2D clothing creators is NOT the way to fix this problem
Bad actors must be stopped but NOT like this

You don't have to be a clothing designer or have experience in the space for years to recognize that this update is disrespectful, unsustainable, and the complete opposite of empowering.

Roblox is unifying 2D and 3D avatar item publishing. 😬 Creators of 2D clothing will now have to pay a publishing advance of 600 Robux & 200 Robux, and the 2D rate has been drastically cut in half to 30% instead of 70%. This is a drastic change for 2d clothing creators.

@RoyaleSoda yeah, I think it's just cuz the mesh is shaped a lil weird. kinda just accepting it at this point

@PoisonCorpse_ This happens when the UVs are shaped different from the mesh itself, like in this example (Mesh ends in a point, UVs are shaped like blocks). You can manually move the UVs so they end up straightening the texture, but it might warp the texture too much as well.

@vivisaintclair checked, but it's not this. I think it's just because the mesh is shaped weirdly. I'm just accepting it at this point lol

@PoisonCorpse_ Check the name of the UV map in the mesh data. All meshes merged need to have the same UV map name

@len_nrd unfortunately, no, I never use subdivision unless I'm making a flat hair base

@PoisonCorpse_ is there a subdivision modifier on it? check how you are handling UV boundaries within your modifier
