People don't even realize that they are repeating Regan era propaganda. When they relate min wage to being specifically for teens or "starter" jobs, rather than a standard wage for living.

My worst horror story re lack of knowledge is having one of my Long Covid patients die at a different hospital. I went thru her chart afterwards & found zero mention of Long Covid in the progress notes but there was a CT scan with lung changes characteristic of LC.

As a disabled person, I believe the right to a dignified death is vital, but it can only truly exist alongside the right to a dignified life, accomplished by policies like universal head-to-toe public healthcare.
Without the right to live, death turns from choice to obligation.
