Block G Scarlet & Violet booster boxes continue to quietly climb 👀📈 Now that these sets are officially out of rotation and print runs are most likely finished, supply is slowly drying up while sealed demand keeps building. We’ve seen this pattern play out for years in the hobby and once booster boxes go out of print, prices tend to trend upward over time. What’s really interesting is seeing Scarlet & Violet Base already climb to $300+ this quickly. Paradox Rift also still feels underrated at around $275+ considering the overall sealed potential long term. A lot of people ignored these sets when they were everywhere on shelves. Ascended Heroes regular ETBs are now creeping up on $200. This doesn’t even feel like artificial hype at this point. People are actively ripping, holding, and chasing Ascended Heroes all at the same time while supply just doesn’t seem to be keeping up. It also doesn’t help that Chaos Rising and Perfect Order haven’t really matched the same level of demand or popularity. A lot of people seem to be circling right back to ripping Ascended Heroes instead, which is only putting even more pressure on supply. Whether prices continue higher or cool off, one thing is clear right now: Demand for Ascended Heroes is absolutely massive. 👀🔥

Obsidian Flames quietly went from being overlooked to one of the more interesting Scarlet & Violet era sets to watch now that it’s rotated out of Block G. A lot of people focused only on the Charizards, but the artwork depth in this set is honestly underrated. What stands out most is how many beautiful cards are still relatively affordable compared to other modern sets. The Ninetales, Gloom, Cleffa, and even the Pidgeot ex are some of the best looking artworks. The Gloom and Ninetales especially feel like cards people may look back on and wonder why they stayed so cheap for so long. The artwork on both is incredible and they stand out even more in person. Now that Obsidian Flames is out of rotation, sealed product will naturally continue drying up over time as more gets tucked away by collectors.
