In the original, you had a laser sight and the bullet went to where the laser pointed. And enemies reacted to each shot, there was no RNG. You got to engage in the full set of mechanics with basically every enemy. I love a lot of the stuff they put in the Remake but something in the combat was definitely lost to make it inferior.
