The fight our predecessors refused to fight, we’re faced with it today. 😂😂😂 May future pharmacists not curse us out for not being proactive enough.

@asarekwame654 @Tewaa13 What's sooo wrong about it .. Based on the little I know , the struggle of pharmacists in Ghana mostly comes from their governing council or board ..

@PokuDominic @Tewaa13 It's about we have more knowledge in logistics and supply chain. The pharmacists of custodian medications. The pharmacist also have knowledge of supplchain and management since is a requirement to study in pharmacy. It not only about the logistics data.

@asarekwame654 @Tewaa13 From what I have seen and experienced. The Pharmacy stores officer sent a memo to the chief pharmacist to inform him or her about drugs thats needs to be restocked. Then the chief pharmacist informs the procurement to make purchases based on the preference of the pharmacist

When did you graduate? How long have you been unemployed? What role are you looking for? I hope the right person/company sees this and gives you a chance. Good luck.

GoldBod has employed someone i know personally. GoldBod advertised the role on their Instagram page. The person applied, but we all thought the advert was just for comedies. Because typically in Ghana we felt they already had their people but were just making advertising posts for optics and procedure. The person was called for an interview after about a week or two. After about a month, the person was called and offered an appointment letter. The person as i write has been duly employed at Goldbod. I confirm in all HONESTY: No bribe was paid. The person does not know any big man in government. Tough, professional and relevant questions to the job was asked during the interview. Recruitment on merit. I am impressed. I hope all government institutions are being run like this. Keep it up, Sammy. 🙌

Yesterday, at the 2025 Post-Budget Workshop for MPs, I had the privilege to present, the employment situation in the country and the need to interrogate policies with an eye for job creation. Hopefully, the macro framework wld include employment targeting in the near future.
