14/11/2025 ರಂದು, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ನಗರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್, ಆರೋಹಣ ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಸಿಎಂಆರ್ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಸಹಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿ, ಸಿಎಂಆರ್ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಣಸವಾಡಿ ಉಪವಿಭಾಗಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಮಾರ್ಷಲ್ ಉಪಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಜಾರಿಗೊಳಿಸಿತು. ಒಟ್ಟು 170 ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಮಾರ್ಷಲ್ಸ್ ಆಗಿ ಔಪಚಾರಿಕವಾಗಿ ಚಾಲ್ತಿಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಆ ಸಮುದಾಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾದಕ ವಸ್ತು ಬಳಕೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಜಾಗೃತಿ, ರಸ್ತೆ ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಇತರ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅರಿವು ಮೂಡಿಸಲು ಮಾರ್ಷಲ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ಆಣಿಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ, ಬಿಟಿಪಿ ASTraM ಆಪ್‌ನ ಸಂಯೋಜಿತ ಉಲ್ಲಂಘನಾ ಬುಕಿಂಗ್ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿತು, ಈ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನವು ಹೇಗೆ ಜಾರಿ ಮತ್ತು ನಾಗರಿಕರ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಉಪಕ್ರಮವು ಯುವಕರನ್ನು ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯುತ ನಾಗರಿಕರಾಗಿ ಸಬಲೀಕರಿಸುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ಸಮುದಾಯ-ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ತೊಡಗುವಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸುವುದನ್ನು ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿದೆ. On 14/11/2025, Bengaluru City Police, in association with Aarohan Foundation and CMR University, successfully implemented the Police Marshals initiative for the Banaswadi Sub-Division at CMR University. A total of 170 students were formally capped as Police Marshals, preparing them to spread awareness on drug abuse prevention, road safety, and other key social issues across their communities. As part of the programme, BTP also demonstrated the ASTraM App’s integrated violation booking system, highlighting how technology is strengthening enforcement and citizen participation.
