If you are enthusiastic about mitochondria, you know how lit they are🔥Check our review on how they adapt to oocyte development
Or else, if you know how cool oocytes are😎, you’d love to see yet another feature that makes oocytes special: mito-plasticity

@MaxEzzatiMD @BortolettoMD @NMacklon Completely agree with you Max! We always go for LH + 6.... Better safe than sorry 😁
English

Thank you Nikolaos - I agree that probably in the majority of patients the window is wide enough to allow some flexibility, but it is also plausible that:
1) some transfer times may be more optimal than others (ESHRE abstract 2020 by Tim Child's group from Oxford): LH+6 compared to LH+7 (45.0% v 29.1%, p< 0.0001
O-168 Natural cycle frozen-thawed embryo transfer (FET): A comparison of outcomes following blastocyst transfer on day six versus day seven after urinary LH surge. M. Noble, J. Craig, A. Bevan, T. Child
2) Conditions such as PCOS, endometriosis, unexplained infertility, advanced maternal age, recurrent pregnancy loss, RIF, etc. may have an impact on the window of receptivity
3) Significant variations in the configuration of LH surge curve, and the subsequent rise in serum P4 level, may have an impact on the timing of receptivity and optimal point of frozen embryo transfer

English

Question for @BortolettoMD - Do (did) you transfer blastocysts on LH+5 at Cornell? This is an excerpt from your paper on the Length of E2 exposure and pregnancy outcomes in natural cycle FETs

English

@MaxEzzatiMD @BortolettoMD @NMacklon Sorry for entering late.
I would agree with Max. Atypical to transfer LH+5..but take a look at this study by Bartels RBMO 2019 doi.org/10.1016/j.rbmo…
The implantation window seems to be wider for most patients...but you may catch the peak 1 day later & sometimes LH+5 may be ok

English

@BortolettoMD @NMacklon @PolyzosN It’s actually not quite the same, particularly for older women the difference is very notable based on SART 2019 data - maybe older women cannot afford a patio after all

English

@TuongMHo @research_hope Looking forward to welcoming the results!
