"...delivered by June 2024" - well, did they get them or not? It's been two years. Also, there are *no sources cited* warnings everywhere.

It's just absurd. If you are meant to be playing as the "spirit of the nation", then you should have control over both, as in every other PDX title.
And if you are playing as the government, then you should have *far* more control over the military than over farms in Siberia.

Every time I try to get into Vic3, the military system filters me out in an hour. I wouldn't mind if the *whole* game was like that. But nope.
I have a level of control over my economy that Gosplan could only dream of, but military? Medieval monarchs had more control than I do.

Which is bleak, because Prague with a skyline would be a *spectacular* thing to behold. Not just aesthetically, but culturally. Prague with a skyline would mean we are actually daring to dream and build again.

I do believe that once the putrid commie-era relics start dying off, we will be able to fix some of Prague's worst issues. "Medieval Parking Lot" especially.

@TheOneDolf And in any (serious) federalisation proposal, it was accepted that the German parts of Bohemia would become their own regions, so I think that would more or less appease most of them.
They would still grumble, but it would be manageable. The monarchy would still be German.

@TheOneDolf With the German nationalists, I think it depends on the kind of reform. I don't think they would grumble too much about South Slavic Trialism.
The big no-no would be a Bohemian Trialism, with a large German population in a Czech-dominated Bohemia, but that was pretty unlikely.

I am sceptical that Austria-Hungary could have been reformed without some nasty internal bloodbath. I don't see any possible reform/path forward that would be acceptable to Slavs, Hofburg and Hungarians at the same time. Two of them? Sure. But not all three.

I am not saying this as a condemnation, btw. People often criticise der alte Procházka for not doing any big reforms in his later years, but it's not like he had any good options.
As I said, there simply wasn't any easy way to fix the mess without massively alienating *someone*.

Yes, its dysfunction has been greatly overblown. But it *was* a dysfunctional mess, and no, it wasn't anywhere near close to fixing said dysfunction before WW1.
