@Winamax @Riktwitte @PoncePax @moundirofficiel J’aurais tendance à dire….non. Je pense qu’un sport se définit notamment par le fait d’y transpirer, or on ne transpire pas vraiment au poker. Idem pour la pétanque, les darts ou le snooker, meme si cela n’empêche pas d’y voir évoluer de véritables champions.

Ok hear me out: this can actually be a GREAT thing for the sprinters.
The 1st round is in the morning & will essentially serve as a shake out round [for the ones who have a realistic chance of making the final & getting a medal].
The semi and final are in the evening session, which means PLENTY of rest between 1st round & semi.
There is only 1 event in between the semi and final, the men’s 10K. Which will take ~27 mins. So the 2 races are likely to be within 1-1.5H from each other, which is IDEAL.
THEY’LL RUN FASTER IN THE FINAL!!!
Will they feel like they got run over by a truck the next day? Probably. Will it be worth it? 100% yes.

World Athletics has announced that ALL THREE ROUNDS of the women's 100 meters – including the final will be held on the same day at the Los Angeles Olympics. 🔁 The morning session on July 15th, 2028 will feature the women's 100m prelims (the round that features universality athletes from many smaller countries) and the women's 100m first round. The evening session will have the women's 100m semifinal and final to close out the session. Day 1 will also feature the women's shot put final and men's 10,000m final.

@EtienneGoursaud Bonne façon pour eux de mener la danse aux médailles des le début aussi. Pas fan de la première semaine et je trouve ça dommage et risqué pour les athlètes en un jour. Après faut voir ce que ça donne et ne pas se fermer au changement.

This is after it was announced that Athletics would take place during the first week of the Olympics, moving Swimming from the first week.
