My family watched me play at a Melee tournament in person for the first time. I won winner's finals 3-0, pretty easily. Afterwards mom overheard my opponent say something to a friend, took me aside, & whispered in my ear "watch out, he said he'll play more defensively next time!"

I hope that whoever provoked this response is as far removed from competition as possible, or that if they face some sort of suspension. Smash players are by-and-large appreciative or ambivalent about this mod. It is a shame such toxic individuals can drive away such talent.

It’s crazy that I get to cover a melee player today. Cooped Up in MDVA went down & @Rap1238727 got 2nd. In this run, he beat Save twice and Avail. I swear this kid can play any Smash game and be a goat at it. He also is fresh outta Genesis where he beat Zain again. Good job bud!!
