@wanderjegson SNK are currently in a position where they have access to a large source of Saudi money that they probably aren't expected to pay back I imagine the studio is working like crazy to get as many dream projects like COTW off the ground whilst they still have access to the fund.

Fatal Fury getting a new characters each month for the third season is crazy, i thought the game flopping would make them lose steam but they just keep going

@Zuby_Tech This console generation is like a newly renovated house it's big, expensive and all the soul has been removed I remember my PS2 feeling so cool. Gaming and consoles especially have lost that IT factor that once gripped me they now just feel cold and corporate like a McDonald's.

@Scotia834 Capcom has exactly two work ethics it's either damn the game is doing badly here's 7000 Chun-Li skins or hey 2k more players this month I think we'll take a long weekend SF6 no matter how successful will primarily be remembered as a game of wasted opportunity in my eyes.

Capcom pulling up to EVO with absolutely nothing was expected but still incredibly sad. Still crazy to me just how little they actually have to show for SF6 outside characters that release several months apart, but I guess doing the bare minimum is still working well for them.

@Kazsune Capcom promised that my favourite character Alex was gonna be the next big thing they then blew both his kneecaps off with a shotgun by butchering his story and gameplay to prioritise an anime character from a failed project.

Did you quit SF6 or are you still playing? What's your reasoning?

@DidThievesWin I played during the Lion meta and yeah he was stupid defence felt terrible but Lion couldn't completely checkmate me from anywhere on the map Dokki can and it really isn't well designed.

@SagaSaturn2 Generational character assassination from both a story and game design perspective if your a game dev that actively dislikes a character just don't put them in the game.

thousands of people have heard me scream “COUSIN CRACKER” so im not gonna repeat myself and complain about SOMETHING ELSE instead! i hate sf6 for making him a stance character and removing his charge inputs, everything i found fun in sf3 and especially sf5 alex is just gone now

@KBradJStorm The introduction of cool ideas/gameplay that's never adopted by a new character in the sequel Ronaldo being in COTW SUCKS! but a sports based character that uses a ball is a cool idea that I know for a fact SNK won't reuse.

I'm always so confused on why guest characters get so much heat. It's always "We have enough characters that haven't returned yet" but never anything else to explain their anger. Without your bias or your anger, what are some OTHER reasons y'all hate guest characters?
