The deputy leader of Reform UK, Richard Tice, owns a property company - Quidnet REIT. From 2020 to 2022 it paid Tice and his trust £600k in dividends. Quidnet should have paid £120k of tax on those dividends. It didn't. A 🧵 with evidence from the company's own filings:

🚨 This woman absolutely unloads on Keir Starmer… “ARE YOU LISTENING, KEIR STARMER?” She accuses him of betraying the country and losing sight of what Britain stands for. 👏👏👏 Say what you want… but this is how a lot of people are feeling right now. Agree or Disagree? 👇

At the time I thought John Major was the worst British Prime Minister in my life time. Then I thought the same about Blair. Then Gordon Brown, then Theresa May, then Sunak, now Starmer. Britain needs a Meiji restoration level upheaval to rid us of third rate leaders

Has Saturday night TV ever been this bad? BBC 1. Michael McIntyre's Big Show. Which I love. But it's a repeat. The Weakest Link. Repeat. Not Going Out. Repeat. BBC 2. Morecambe and Wise. Twice. Repeats. ITV. Celebrity Sabotage. Absolute garbage. The 1% Club. Repeat. Channel 4. Two films that seem better suited to children. Channel 5. The usual cheap dross about the Royal Family. Utter rubbish. Do better TV companies.

The Chagos deal, the timeline of corruption: July 5th 2024 Starmer wins election July 23th 2024 Starmer and Lammy quick as a fucking flash meet Mauritian PM Pravind Jugnauth, dodgy deal struck, Mauritian PM tweets how giddy he is the next day. July 26th 2024 Feeling guilty, Lammy prays for forgiveness in Vientiane, Laos Feb 2025 Pravind Jugnauth arrested for corruption and money laundering, oddly lots of lovely UK visas and Cash confiscated by police. April 2026 Dodgy Chagos deal looking extremely unlikely Of course Lammy and Starmer are up to their stinking armpits in it. Is the penny dropping as to why Starmer wanted the deal to go through no matter what.....

If Keir Starmer’s Chagos surrender now finds its rightful place - on the ash heap of history - it will be because Conservatives led the fight against it from day one. That it took so long is another damning indictment of a prime minister, who fought to hand over British sovereign territory and pay £35 billion to use a crucial military base which was already ours. Unlike Labour, we will always put our country first. We are the only party who can be trusted to stand up for Britain’s interests abroad.
Steven Swinford@Steven_Swinford

EXCLUSIVE Sir Keir Starmer has been forced to drop legislation which would cede sovereignty of the Chagos Islands to Mauritius in a further deterioration of relations with Donald Trump The Times has been told that a bill underpinning the controversial deal will not be included in the King's Speech next month after the US president branded it an "act of great stupidity" and withdrew his support The government stands by the deal and will attempt to persuade Trump to change his mind but has acknowledged that it cannot proceed without his backing Ministers are "deeply frustrated" with Trump, who initially supported the deal after extensive discussions between intelligence agencies but changed his mind during a dispute with Nato over plans to seize Greenland The government believes that it puts the future of Diego Garcia, the UK-US base in the islands which has been used during the Iran war, at risk It is concerned that Mauritius will mount a legal challenge granting it access to the waters around Diego Garcia, making it harder for the base to host nuclear submarines and patrol surrounding waters The deal was highly contentious. It would have seen Britain hand over the islands to Mauritius before immediately entering into a 99-year lease for Diego Garcia. The government claimed it would cost £3.5billion, although the Tories disputed this and said it would cost £35billion his over its lifetime. thetimes.com/uk/politics/ar…

Assault on freedoms? It’s was the Labour Party who tried and failed to postpone local and mayoral elections primarily in areas they were tanking. It is the Labour Party who are trying to curb jury trials and the right to appeal. It is the Labour Party who are acting in increasingly authoritarian ways riding roughshod over civil liberties. Remind me again who is assaulting our freedoms?
