If you give yourself a history lesson you’ll find most of the old empires were virtually wiped out and destroyed in WW1 and finished off in WW2. Everything changed and all the good that the British empire did was destroyed by radicals who demanded independence. Look what’s happened to African countries since any colonial power left.
