@JUDGEJUSTIN777 Markups are great if you’re buying from Chinamall in Joburg or directly from China to resell there. Even so, you’d need, on average, 1x customer in that shop every hour of every day just to break-even on rent. Customers which they don’t have. I’m betting they’re fronts.

Have you ever notice when you walk in to a big mall that there are + - 20 Pakistani shops in one mall that sells electronic & cellphone products & the majority of these shops is always empty without any customers? How do they make money to pay high rent? Or are they just a front?

@Imms_S_Nashinge Sounds about right. None of these numbers make sense, like average salaries of 900,840 per person. Only believable figures seems to be the Nil corporate tax, Nil bursaries and Nil Dividends

Revenue: N$16 billion turnover, N$8.2 billion profit But:…… - Zero dividends paid, meaning Epangelo (the Namibian state entity with 10%) received nothing - 90% Chinese ownership means most profits ultimately flow to Beijing - Heavy reliance on a single foreign state company for a strategic resource Bottom line: Swakop Uranium is a significant economic contributor to Namibia, but the zero-tax, zero-dividend outcome in 2025 raises questions about how much of the wealth from Namibia’s own uranium is actually staying in the country.

I don't understand why employers are not increasing our salaries as to match the increase in taxi fare? 😭

@ZaWJBek @Send_me_a_song @BusinessTechSA What are you talking about panican. Clearly waiting for your screenshot of above. Yes I get the echo chamber and sadly didn’t expect the music-chick to go wayward but just post the thing. It’s not hard

With investing just start. Start as soon as you can and develop the habit. You’ll figure out the rest along the way. ETFs or Mutual Funds are a good starting base.

@DilBradly ‘Themes’ and hypes aside, there I just hear exit strategy for founders. Which of the SMR or data centre has actual paying customers? An ecosystem of sorts?

DATA CENTRES - The need for Energy. Why China is winning the race! China has 365 DCs while the U.S has 4000…, when reading that you might think the U.S is leading , they’re NOT! Chinas DCs have a large amount of 1GW DCs that can do extreme amounts of Compute. The U.S has many DCs that operate at 100-400MW, these were perfect for storage and basic requests. China has the advantage - it’s Energy! This is why I like the energy theme - $BE , $FCEL, $D , $PLUG , $ENPH , $FLNC , $SEDG for plug and plays. The bigger theme however is Nuclear - $OKLO , $CCJ , $SMR , $UUUU Look at what Jensen says below! @sharenetsa

The oldest hotel in the world is The Nishiyama Onsen Keiunkan in Japan and has been in business since 705 AD. The crazy thing is that it’s still a family business. For 52 generations.

@Darth_Martys Probably in my top 5 of best buys of all time 😄 1. Buy an extra packet of plastic hooks 2. Do NOT buy a bulb. You want dry air. Not Hot air. Hot air and raw meat is problematic.. 3. Subscribe to 2 Guys & a Cooler on YouTube

Guys, I’m keen to start making my own biltong and I’m looking at getting something like this. Any advice or tips from the pros who are actively making their own would be much appreciated... things you wish you knew when starting out, what to look for, and what to avoid?

@TheBlckGenius Formula, using 2007 labour act Average GRN salary 310,000/259.8 average working days=1993each per day 149 per hour 6 hours knock off = 895 each X 114,000 employees 102,020,785 Rounded 102 million was just given as a freebie. 102 million lost to knock off at 10am.

@mybroadband Very strange description. ‘Stops 82 billion in fraud a month’ ‘Processes over R82 billion per month’ So nearly 100% of everything processed was fraud? This is like prospecting for oil at a fuel station 😂

I received a message from a complete stranger today thanking me for intervening on his behalf in a parking dispute with racial overtones in Melville in 1996. I don't even remember it and never met the person. It made my day. Thanks, friend.
