Today I'm 35 years old. All praise be to God! I am thankful for another day, another second, let alone another year. Birthdays use to be about celebration, now for me my birthday is more about reflection and gratitude. From a kid with no teeth to a man with a grey beard, time is a precious gift. It always feels a bit strange having a birthday so close to Easter, but I find solace that Christ Is King, he is risen, the resurrection is literal. I'm nowhere near perfect, but I know who to give it up to and I will soldier on another year or as long as he gives me. Troubling times in our country, as always, in every society throughout history. Peace is a luxury, freedom is a luxury, life itself is a luxury. I just want to say thank you to everybody out there following me, that continues to support and believe in me. I hope I don't let you down too much, but one thing you can count on is I will keep fighting. 35 years old, wow! Where did the time go? So much has happened, so much more to do. Today I say a prayer for all the friends and family that are no longer here. Some of the friends I grew up with didn't make it, I soldier on for them as well. Drop an American flag in the comments if you love America, say a prayer for me, if you want to give me a present... just repost this message because we need genuine people to lead us out of this mess and I strive to be one of those people.
