@PDESecretary I saw that special considerations are being made to combat the teacher shortage in PA but nothing to address teachers needing a level 2 cert. Covid limited opportunities. Why not keep experienced teachers?

@PDESecretary I saw today that PA is making numerous exceptions to get new teachers into classrooms including reciprocity & fast-tracking college students into classrooms early. Are there plans for retaining level 1 teachers who need level 2 cert but were held up due to covid?

@Hyundai still copy and pasting responses even though maintenance records were provided! Supposedly the word of their hotshot mechanics is final... Except these are the same guys that returned my car with nuts and bolts sitting loose in the engine bay! 🖕

Just responded to @Hyundai through BBB AGAIN about their refusal to cover the garbage engine in my car despite having submitting them all of the maintenance records they requested. Don't fall for their "best warranty" lies, they don't honor it!

Mr Poore's STEM lab treated any kids who came to work with their parents today with the opportunity to build cardboard rockets, laser cut Minecraft keychains, and screen printed their very own astronaut shirts! #ec_proud

The best part about the STEM lab @ec_high is that creativity is only limited by the student's imagination. For Aryanna Nielson there was no limit! When the class was tasked with creating a laser cut keychain, she opted to take on a tougher task and created a holder for glasses.👍🏻

The return to in-person learning has allowed our Basic Home Repair students to get their hands dirty once again! Hammers, nails, and 2x4s were used to create these frames then drywall and joint compound sheathed them. Next we will bash holes in them & practice patching! #EC_proud

@amberosuba Maybe that's an app I should create! I can fix anything. Email me your issues if you're ever in a pinch

I need a new homeowner app that lets me send live video to get real-time “how bad is this issue?” advice from someone exactly like my father but who better eyesight to actually see the problem / less frustration with how little I understand building structures and tools

@MahramusAlyssa and Everfi are about to be inundated with new classes when school shut down and require online learning. Thank Goodness for @EVERFIK12 and their STEM curriculum!

Can't think of enough compliments for Mitchell Covert & Blake Witter on their projects! Mitchell produced this laser cut vector graphic poster of Dallas Stars d-man & Lincoln alumni Stephen Johns while Blake designed & built this entire USMC project including wiring! #ec_proud

Engineering 1 students were challenged to design a 2 layer, 2 color T shirt. Hard to complain about this one 😁. Great job kids! #ec_proud

When the distraction of cellular devices is removed, #ec_proud students can produce some pretty impressive work. Congratulations to the 8th grade students who produced these laser cut posters using vector graphics!

I hate having to be out sick, but fortunately I'm still able to assign appropriate content that directly relates to our projects with the help of @EVERFIK12 @FutureGoalsSTEM @pensfoundation
