A message from Interim First Minister Misley Mandarin, from the #Chagos Islands with two of his brothers in arms. We have won a battle for justice — but not yet the war. Now Parliament must decide whether Britain stands by its people. 🇬🇧🇮🇴

Watching the algo-driven Japanese-American Twitter bromance, I can’t help but think that China squandered away tremendous amounts of good will after the 2008 Olympics. For what?

Properly scaled diagram of the journey of Artemis II. Inertial frame of reference. No, the mission won’t land, but it will be going a tremendous distance from Earth. The green circle is the ISS orbit… Made it for this article: planetocracy.org/p/artemis-ii-i…

ARTEMIS II MISSION TRAJECTORY 380,000 kilometers of empty space. Four astronauts. One spacecraft. And the courage to go where humanity hasn't ventured in half a century. If schedule holds, these 3 giant rockets will launch in the next 3 weeks. From left to right: New Glenn - satellite launch now, planned for the Moon Starship - test flight 12 now, planned for the Moon Artemis - to the Moon and back with 4 crew aboard Pushing the very edge of our capability as we learn how to more safely & cheaply reach space, to explore all that exists beyond. @nasa @SpaceX @blueorigin

...for example, most of China's bomber bases do in fact have aircraft shelters. They may not be hardened shelters, but you can't just use commercial or 3rd-party (e.g., Russian) imagery to do easy drone/missile targeting, as the aircraft are at least hidden from overhead view.

And that didn’t involve any drones or missiles or even bullets.

China providing targeting intel to Iran is the surest way to create bad blood that will last beyond this administration. No one will care about the Flying Tiger propaganda. The only example of the US doing this was during the clashes with India during 2022.

@mrmikeMTL When Cabinet sent the BEF to fight with the French instead of the Belgians. All just one long disaster ever since.

@glcarlstrom Well I’m curious. Suppose transits via the toll booth reached pre-war levels. Would Europe still really have an issue over the SoH? I think it is clear that a normal American administration would have an issue with that. Not so sure about Europe.

@CameronWEF @MarkFlegm It was annoying how some accounts here would just parrot the government put out at the press conferences. I don’t think we had any food deliveries for the first week. Almost certainly no privately arranged ones. But somehow complaining about that would make the situation worse?

Muji razors are pretty good. Have been using this one for months. Amazing when it’s sharp, but even dull it doesn’t disappoint—might not cut great but at least it won’t destroy your face.
