@TomZohar If the meds don't kill me that hair will! Season 2 ending was so perfect. The stakes couldn't have been higher for Val, and in the end she chose her family over the most important night of her working life. For me, having seen season 3, it ended there. Season 3 is a fever dream

I enjoyed the season and would gladly accept 10 more seasons of Valerie Cherish but to me nothing will ever top the season 2 finale

Third season of #TheComeback can be summed up as "AI is here; creatives are worried/angry". Well, duh! But Val wins in the end so who cares, right? Ugh. Idk. What a waste of a great concept poorly executed. Lisa Kudrow is fantastic, but that season was not "it".

@LouisPeitzman It was lame. I'm confused about what we are supposed to take away from the AI of it all as an audience. They never really committed to a stance. I was waiting for a moment like the end of season 1 or season 2 where we see Val exposed in a new way, but it just never happened.

My point was that scrutinising art doesn't feed/house people, or reduce inequality. Redistributing wealth/power is a more meaningful challenge to late-stage capitalism.

@PoppinThang @lorebreakers_ Non profits often sit with in the same power structures, economics, & systemic bureaucracy as any other industrial complex. What we need is worker-owner co-ops, w/ community organized systems of direct mutual aid & alternative economies.

Most rebellious thing you can do against late stage capitalism and corporations is to think deeply about symbolism and art. The more shallow and literal you’re thinking the easier you are to monetize. You’re great at fulfilling their bottom line when you are trained not to think.

@bestofStarTrek By far the best nuTrek show. Had the most consistent writing and character development across both seasons and after the opening few episodes felt like the most "Trek" show of the modern era; a return to hopeful adventure, ideals and exploration.
