A cyber-attack on the government’s Legal Aid Agency in April has left lawyers unable to bill for their work, with victims of domestic abuse now struggling to secure representation.
One KC warned that the additional hours of administrative work caused by the breach mean they can take on “two or three” fewer victims of domestic abuse each week.
