I generally don't sow my flower seeds before the spring equinox (March 20th this year)....chances of success are greatly enhanced with longer days and warmer conditions.

@Enchantedfitmom These are all in a south-west facing window in the UK, so they have maximum light, I just have to be careful in the summer!
