First moisture probe in for the 25/26 cotton season! The plants are steaming along here at Trangie NSW, in the Macquarie valley. Most late-September to early-October sown paddocks are now ready for a probe, with the first true leaves just starting to emerge across the region.

Our 18th annual summer crop season is away, with the 1st of our ~300 SMP Soil moisture probes going into corn yesterday by our ol’ work-horse Frazer 💪. This is our time to shine in our favourite game… providing our AMAZING farmers with great data to improve efficiencies!!

Water height sensors are a great way to save unnecessary trips to check on chanenels, saving time, labour and diesel. They can be set up with an SMS notification, where the user will get a text when the water level has hit a specified height. #precisionagriculture🌾🚜

With most winter crops throughout the state now starting to demand more moisture, Porosity have installed probes to help growers make smarter management decisions.

The guys were out last week north of Grenfell, installing Porosity’s first inversion tower! The tower has two temperature sensors, one at 10m and one at 1.2m. With this data the grower will know when an inversion is present, resulting in smarter spraying decisions.
