What a sight! This past week we saw 5 ships docked simultaneously at Bayport Container Terminal, making great use of the recently completed Wharf 7. Thanks to this and additional investments, Bayport has added half a million TEUs to its capacity.

Our Bayport and Barbours Cut Container Terminals truck gates will operate with reduced hours on Monday, February 16, 2026, in observance of Presidents Day. Gate hours: 6 a.m. – 5 p.m. Ingate closes: 4 p.m. Regular operations will resume on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.

New RTGs are arriving at Bayport Container Terminal. Five units delivered Jan. 10 bring the total to 157, with six more arriving in March. These RTGs support six-high stacking, helping optimize yard space and improve terminal efficiency.

Project complete: Wharf 7 was finished ahead of schedule, and it adds 1,000 feet of berth space at Bayport Container Terminal. This and additional infrastructure investments in the terminal help increase Bayport’s capacity by more than half a million TEU.
