We’re excited to welcome you to 5th Grade Welcome Night on Wednesday, February 25, from 6:00–7:00 pm! This evening is a great opportunity to meet some new faces, tour the building, and get a peek at what the upcoming school year will look like for your student.

The annual NMS Shop for a Cause event is this Thursday, December 18, 2025, from 5:30-7:00. We hope to see you there!

The end of an era at North Middle School. Over a decade of working together and serving the students of North Middle School. We will miss these three!

We are seeking financial donations to help make our 8th Grade Farwell Party a great experience for students. Donations are being used for decorations and food! We appreciate any donation amount!

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the NMS Band Concert is canceled for May 28. We will follow up soon with any plans to reschedule or alternative ways to recognize our students’ hard work and dedication. We understand how much students and families look forward to these events.

Congratulations to the NMS 8th Grade Choir! Cedar Point Music in the Parks Festival Grand Champions! Way to go team!

Thanks, Ms. Lahaie and Mr. Kaylor, for promoting healthy lifestyles for students at North Middle School. National Bike and Roll to School Day was a success!

Congratulations to Mrs. Greeley and our talented NMS Art students. They won "Most Sustainable" in the Portage Recycled Art Contest through City Hall.
