His holdout is bizarre to many outside but he and his agent simply misread his market. Teams view him in the Zack Littell/Aaron Civale tier with very good reason. If he came down to a 1/10 and a 14 mutual option, I could see Cincinnati agreeing to that. Braves looking at trades

Lucas Giolito has been insisting ~$20M AAV all offseason to teams, which is why he hasn’t signed yet because teams don’t want to make that commitment to him. Reds might with Hunter Greene’s bone spurs but I do not expect the Braves to change their mind even with Wentz’s ACL

@sportsbravesok Possibly. I don’t think he is traded to the Braves however because teams interested (O’s, Dodgers, Phillies, Rays etc) all can make better offers. If Braves do strike a deal, it’s because White Sox could not get a better deal from at least 4 other teams
