While people at home are dreading the next energy bill landing in their inbox, fossil fuel bosses are filling their coffers. We need a permanent, tightened windfall tax to claw back every penny of excess profit being made on this crisis and put it towards supporting households.

Every young person in Scotland should watch this. Westminster is counting on you being scunnered and tuned out, but your vote is your power - and you can use it to transform Scotland. Register to vote now, it takes less than 5 minutes. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
The SNP@theSNP

Westminster is counting on you not voting. Counting on you being fed up. Counting on you tuning out. Counting on you accepting that this is as good as it gets. It is not. Make sure you’re registered to vote: registertovote.scot

One of the worst things the SNP has done against Indy supporters (and there is so much it's hard to choose a worst) is normalising the unionist line that SNP only must have a majority, in a parliament set up by Westminster & unionists to prevent any party having a majority.

We need to be asking every unionist politician this. What is the process for a second referendum to take place. They can’t give a straight answer cuz they’re scared of what the Scottish people think - sad.

@RepublicanSons Go on then. The “surplus” of electricity thro wind costs more to produce than gas and nuclear and is Done by private enterprise only viable at all through “ green” subsidies and price guarantees many well above cost of gas generation in the UK national grid. Outwith it would be 0

@PositiveScotla2 @RepublicanSons Do you think Westminster parties hold back budgets to Scotland in the partial refund because we don’t vote for their branch parties in Holyrood?

@PositiveScotla2 The Tories have run Scotland on zero MPs, 11% of the vote and not having been elected here in over 70 years. That's pretty definitive about what we don't want.

@Fergie_CJ @StewartNial Ineos closed Grangemouth as it was uneconomic to refurbish and this was in large part down to the anti oil and gas agenda pursued by SGov and their insistence on green tech ideas and limitations that made the project unviable. Please wise up

@PositiveScotla2 Of course they have no chance, because the system is set up to prevent it. No party can gain a majority. We've been allowed one Scottish party with about 6 run from London that in reality are one uni-party who mop up the list votes.

"My friend." This is how our government greets those accused of war crimes. This is not diplomacy. It's debasement.
David Lammy@DavidLammy

Great to catch up with my friend @JDVance today in DC following his talks in Pakistan. It is vital that the ceasefire continues and we get shipping flowing freely again through the Straits of Hormuz. We continue to work together towards a just and lasting peace in Ukraine.

Westminster politicians do not care about Scotland and think they can ignore the voices of people in Scotland. Let’s prove them wrong on May 7th. #BothVotesSNP

As the Scottish people are sovereign, then they can decide on independence at a referendum or an election. Any supposed pro indy politicians denying the election avenue to independence undermine or indeed deny that sovereignty.
Jim Fairlie SNP Candidate for PS&K-Shire@JimFairlieLogie

The people of Scotland are sovereign but WM reserved control of constitutional affairs in 1998 Scotland Act which blocks a referendum even when there is a pro-independence majority elected. John Swinney is seeking an outright SNP majority so that the 2011 precedence is invoked

@LiviVillage @citizentommy @theSNP If you vote green you enable their policies and put women and girls well being in danger alongside economic illiteracy- there’s also will be no new referendums even if you do. You need to stop and think please

@citizentommy The rag tag bunch of Indy supporting parties had a great chance to work with @thesnp but for whatever reason that’s not happened. The likely outcome is that only the SNP and Greens pick up seats. I’m not convinced about the Greens but I don’t have a credible alternative.

With a super majority in Holyrood we organise a perfectly legitimate and legal plebecite election with independence the only issue. Win that election and the Westminster cretins will be unable to prevent us declaring our independence and publishing our new written constitution 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
