I love COMPETITORS! Let me begin with that @JRudd_Scout @nextlevelbb @baseballifer11 The over-use of pitchers at the HS level this spring IMO...has been insane I am looking at committed kids who universities and colleges have investments in being ran out like rented mules...(has not happened to us) One guy went from 70 pitches to 122 his next start....on 5 days...and is scheduled to come back on another 5 days... I'm asking as a Coach who has tried to navigate this for years with HS Coaches...how do you broach the subject with the network of the coach/player/parents in the current state of the game with arm injuries? It seems all anyone cares about is winning "now" ... "We have Counties" "We have states"... "I knew I should have come out...but I was just trying to give my team a chance to win a big game" (player) - again I LOVE COMPETITORS I love to win. However, at what point do we do whats best for the long term health of that player? That's the conundrum for me because something has to give...Coaches/Parents need to be the adults in the room or it will NEVER CHANGE

@TheNoto24 @JRudd_Scout @nextlevelbb In doing so it alleviates stress on the pitchers arms, and promotes developing other players. Injuries down and a winning team culture goes up!! Compete compete compete but have a plan for your players!!

@TheNoto24 @JRudd_Scout @nextlevelbb Have a plan that allows you to ramp players up who likely played basketball and hockey all winter up here in the North East. Additionally, it would allow you to develop other pitchers around your top guys.
