@PostWither @InTheHalfPearl there are so many reviews out there where people just plainly state what they think of an album in overly simple terms; I think what you're doing is cool. I think people have maybe grown to expect certain ways of presenting ideas on review sites, but, who cares

Basically true of most other areas of culture, too. No new genres of music, etc. So much modern culture is backward-looking & revivalist, to an unprecedented extent relative to past eras that also involved revivals. Something is happening we don't fully understand yet
