That’s it. I capitulated all my $xpl at a mid seven figure loss and -85% ish from buy after going all in near the top. It’s been a really tough but overall good last few years in crypto where I’ve managed to build an account I was proud of from $30k, just to throw it all away by going all in @plasma . 10/10 was just the start for me with my liquidations unfortunately. Should have just exited there Why have I never taken profits? I have a good job, where I can fully risk in crypto. But mostly if I come down to the truth it’s Greed, wanting to change my family’s life forever, wanting to give my family the life we dreamt of, thinking I could pull this off, and overall having the conviction at the time that Xpl could be a top 20 token. So many thoughts, so many regrets. I’ve been living in anger, sadness and self disgust / hate for the last couple months while seeing this dump with no recovery. Would I have sold the recovery? Probably not unfortunately either. So 100% my fault. Now it’s time to close this chapter, realize my mistakes and move forward. @pauliepunt and co seem to want to distance from the token. Not one word has been said about it, just fluff about plasma. In the telegrams, and discord, the team seems to make you feel stupid for having the token. Or treat those talking about it as pariahs.. hilarious web2 attitude about a web3 project which culture clearly stems from the top. One that I think might f the project long term. But we’ll see. I won’t go further into the token and project itself. As I obviously believed it with all my heart. And was incredibly wrong. So wtf do I know. I’m terribly sorry to all the people I’ve sold this to. All the ones irl who thought I knew what I was talking about while taking multiple 7 figure losses while being used as exit liquidity. But mostly sorry to my family for being this greedy and believing overly much in a crypto product without fully understanding the implications. And mostly believing in founders who couldn’t care less about the community and would rather talk about google emojis than addressing their own tokens price action. I do hope some serious competition will come. I’m sure it will. One that will care about its holders while still being the best project it could be. One with so much potential and backing, but still with enough foresight to take care of the hands that feed them. This industry is riddled with too many scam founders lining their own pockets instead of really creating a great fkn product and taking care/ loving their communities. @HyperliquidX and @chameleon_jeff you’ll forever be unbeaten. Hope founders follow this example. To all the guys still holding. I hope your conviction pays off whether it’s in this or the next thing. Please never go all in on a project regardless of your conviction. I’ve been in this space since 2017. I would call you an idiot if you did. So I am the idiot for doing so. I believe @Jason______A talked about this recently on a post. Such a great post so I definitely recommend reading it and giving him a follow. Such a great learning lesson, one that I’ve made too many times to give myself any sort of leeway. I need to suffer as that will be my punishment. This lesson is something I’ll have to learn again. And I hope it’s not the last time I get to play at this level. My biggest fear is not being able to make this all back. Documenting this for myself only. But maybe something here will help someone else not do the same dumb sht. Cheers to the worst performing coin in history. Buying memes would have fared better. Farewell and god speed. mx
