After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision that Dying Light: The Beast will no longer be released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Dying Light: The Beast was built from the ground up to take full advantage of current-generation hardware. Its open world, advanced visuals, and fluid combat and traversal all depend on processing power and memory that previous-generation consoles simply cannot provide. As development progressed, it became clear that bringing the game to those platforms would require compromises that would prevent us from delivering the experience we set out to create. This was not a matter of choosing to leave those platforms behind. Rather, it reflected the technical realities of development and our commitment to delivering the best possible experience. We know many of you were looking forward to playing on PS4 or Xbox One, and we are truly sorry for the disappointment this causes. Anyone who was expecting to play on either platform will be eligible for a refund. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

@DacunhaSeb @KittenByKitten This is also very dependent on your television, some tvs don’t show the difference as well, I have a Q-led and it’s very noticeable for me.

@DacunhaSeb @KittenByKitten 4k disc can hold more data, so usually 4k releases have more special features, 2 the name 4k means it’s 4 times the resolution compared to a HD bluray, w/ a rom com you prob won’t see a difference, but like heavy colors and deep blacks are very noticeable, & better sound files.

@notfunEman This, and outer worlds 2 were two that I was very excited for but very bummed when I learned about the online required connection. I fully support physical media and buy it but I don’t buy these types. I feel like it’s to easy of a cheat for these companies.

Best part of physical games? You can borrow them from the library.

@notfunEman Idk if this has changed but I do believe you still have to have a online connection to download and play so this technically while being physical is not actually a physical game, more of a disk formed keycard like the switch key cards. No data for the game is on the disc.

@shojodie Dlx is $10 alone, so for $60 more we’re getting the physical disc of a short game that could be easily passed off and gotten lost like PT, art cards, a sick poster and a keychain. Silent hill games retain their value. Having majority every release physically id pay $100 for it.

70$ for a game that you can get for free in the PS store is crazy work qsdlkjfhkjlh mind you the new silent hill game coming out in a couple of months costs 50$

@JackmoveJohnny @LimitedRunGames Yeah this sadly is a regular occurrence, I ordered the lollipop chainsaw CE and the Scott pilgrim vs the world CE and both took over a year to arrive, SPVTW was almost 2 years 😭 I buy from them sparingly with CES cuz they always have some unforeseen delay in production.
