Tomorrow, February 11, is an Early Release Day. Pre-K students will be dismissed at 11:45am. All other students will dismiss at 12 noon. Please ensure all transportation arrangements are confirmed for these earlier times.

Valentine Sweetgrams Reminder! Just a heads-up that Sweetgram orders are due this Thursday, Feb. 12th. Each gram is $1 and includes a bracelet and lollipop. Please send in the order form with your student, even if you paid online via Zeffy.

Powell Parents, Monday is our first Crochet Club meeting! We invite parents and 4th and 5th grade students to join us from 3:30 to 5:00 pm in the Powell Cafeteria who are interested in learning to crochet.

Powell Families, EPISD has implemented a 2 hour delay tomorrow for students and teachers. Breakfast will be served starting at 9:30 a.m. in the cafeteria. Teachers will pick students up at 10:00 a.m. All students' lunch schedules will be the same.

Happy New Year to our Powell families! We hope you all had an amazing and restful winter break and we look forward to seeing you all back on campus this Wednesday January 7th for the first day of our second semester!

Powell Parents, reminders if you are joining your student for lunch today; cafeteria lunch is only offered for students but you are allowed to bring in your own meal. Outside lunch for your child, cannot be shared with other students. We look forward to seeing you on campus!

Powell Parents, the safety of our students & staff are the highest priority. Tomorrow we will conduct a school-wide lockdown drill. The exact time will be unannounced. Please talk with your child, if you deem it appropriate, about the drill. Call the office with questions.

Powell Parents of Intramural participants, basketball intramurals will begin Monday, 12/8. 3rd grade meets on the 8th, 4th grade meets on the 9th and 5th grade meets on the 10th. The following week will be adjusted with 3rd grade on the 15th and 4th and 5th grade on the 16th.
