Idk man like you can argue otherwise like for maybe 4 different pairings.
Like just in the west, Luka/Reaves and Shai/Ajay are probably better. Mitchell/Harden and Ball/Knueppel in the east have strong arguments. They’re nasty though.
Thank you for asking
rotations from Mitch
lack of defensive execution down the stretch
not enough counters(I like the empty side curl into the paint for Wemby but passes were too late)
Wemby either needs more reps as a half-court creator/shot maker or he isn't prepared to play that many minutes(don't want to rush to the conditioning allegations)
Fox was a bad table setter and shot maker
A lot of questionable shooters in a big game
May need another playable big body so Wemby can roam more
Still would pick SAS over DEN in a series, love their athleticism, defense, and multiple options to put pressure on the defense
The Silver built the Spurs gimmick is quite silly for Wemby, Castle, and whoever else but I completely sympathize with fans annoyed at them getting Harper gift wrapped this is an obvious All-NBA guy.
The Hawks’ projected starting lineup next season, if they land the No. 1 overall pick via the Pelicans or Bucks:
Nickeil Alexander-Walker
Dyson Daniels
AJ Dybantsa
Jalen Johnson
Onyeka Okongwu
Currently a 10.5% chance Atlanta makes the playoffs and hits lottery luck with No. 1.
@PowellGhost it's a "best of" pick so, even with where the pels and bucks stand now (basically worst case scenario if you go back 2 months), the hawks still have 40+ percent to be in the top 4
from a hawks draft standpoint, there has obviously been a lot of focus on the (inevitable) uptick from the pelicans late in the season
but the bulls going 6-26 in the last 32 games has not been ideal for bucks-related reasons
(similar to memphis being 2-16 in the last 18)
