Why are more brands turning to athletes over traditional influencers? One of the answers is simple! The next generation is watching! When young athletes dream about their future, they're not looking to influencers. They're watching the college athlete who just earned a scholarship, the quarterback leading their team, the volleyball player breaking school records, or the wrestler who shows up every day before sunrise to train. These athletes aren't just creating content. They're setting an example. For brands, that's a powerful difference. Young athletes see them as role models. Parents trust them. Communities rally behind them. That kind of influence is built through dedication, character, and consistency, not just follower counts. If your business wants to connect with the next generation, partner with the people they're already looking up to. At PowerNIL, we help brands connect with athletes who align with their mission, audience, and goals. You can check out our full roster of athletes your brand can partner with by following the link below! powernil.com/our-athletes #NameImageLikeness #NIL #AthleteMarketing #SportsMarketing #BrandPartnerships #FutureLeaders

At PowerNIL we are excited to be an official partner of Rise Above, Friends of Penn State Adaptive Athletics, an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to advancing elite opportunities for adaptive student-athletes. This initiative is focused on raising the funding necessary to provide scholarships, training resources, equipment, and travel support for adaptive athletes competing at the highest level. Unlike traditional Division I athletes backed by major athletic budgets, these athletes rely on external support to access the same level of opportunity. The gap is real, and this partnership is built to close it. We are actively engaging corporate partners, sponsors, and individual donors who want to align with these high-performance athletes and directly impact these athletes’ ability to train, compete, and succeed. Partners and donors are invited to engage now! For more information, email Mike@PowerNIL.com

The NCAA's proposed 5-for-5 eligibility model is generating plenty of discussion throughout college athletics, sports media outlets, and the national news. From recruiting and roster construction to transfer portal activity and NIL opportunities, the potential changes will have a major impact on athletes, coaches, teams, and brands alike. In topic 2.0 we dive into the question will there be fewer scholarships available for incoming recruits? One of the biggest questions surrounding the proposed 5-for-5 rule is how it could impact recruiting. If every Division I football player is eligible to stay for five full seasons, roster turnover may slow. That could leave coaches with fewer scholarships to offer each recruiting class, making the path from high school to college football even more competitive. For recruits, earning a committable offer early, continuing to develop, and standing out both on and off the field may become more important than ever. Understanding changes like these helps athletes and families make smarter decisions throughout the recruiting journey. The rules may change, but preparation, persistence, and putting yourself in the best position to succeed never go out of style. To check out our full NILegally Speaking we break down what the 5-for-5 rule is and explore how it could reshape the future of college sports. Think NIL is only for Fortune 500 companies? Think again. You do not need a multi million-dollar marketing budget to build a successful NIL campaign. Some of the best partnerships happen between local businesses and local athletes. Why? Because they're connected to the same community, share the same audience, and create authentic relationships that people trust. Whether you're a restaurant, gym, boutique, insurance agency, or family-owned business, NIL can be a cost-effective way to: - Increase brand awareness - Build community connections - Create engaging social media content - Support the next generation of athletes The best NIL campaigns aren't always the biggest. They're the ones that feel genuine. Local business. Local athlete. Real impact. If you would like to know how partnering with an elite athlete can help build your brand we would love to have a conversation with you! A point of clarification to @NCAA 5-for-5 eligibility rule. 9/1 is a critical date and the age-based trigger in determining the ag-based start of the 5 year window. 9/1 is deemed the "start of an academic year". So, if 19 before 9/1, then the upcoming year counts towards the 5; if 19 after 9/1, then the next (not current) academic year is the start. #nil #collegeathlete

At PowerNIL, we're tackling some of the biggest myths surrounding NIL and athlete marketing to help businesses better understand the opportunities available today. Myth: You need a National Champion or a Division 1 superstar for your NIL Marketing to work. Facts: The best NIL partnerships are often local and regional athletes with strong community connections. A college athlete with an engaged local following can create more impact for your business than a nationally known athlete whose audience has no connection to your market. In NIL marketing, the right fit beats the biggest name. We love to help brands connect with athletes who align with their mission, audience, and goals. Congrats to Alex for his commitment to NYU. Another one of my portal clients who goes to one of the top academic and hoops programs in the country. A guard with very unique skills that led the SCIAC in rebounding and third in points per game. He brings an attacking, aggressive style on both ends of the court to enhance the Violets hoops program for next two years. @CRConsultingSD1 @MccleeryBrown @d3hoops @CoachCThompson @RyanAlanScott @OACBBallShow @MattSnyderD3 @ZacSnyder @BQuillmanQcast @D3Direct @nyumenshoops @PowerNIL_
