@wanderjegson it was probably in the manga for explanatory purposes for the near exclusively Japanese audience, but since the anime is more global there's less need to explain that slavery was a thing directly

I think the characters talking about Diego marrying a rich old woman, Lucy being Mr. Steel's wife despite being a child, Soundman's backstory and Hey-Ya can be moved to later episodes, but i know other stuff that they didn't adapted will never appear in the anime at all.
