@osf_rekt That is for sure true for the AI adoption - smaller and agile companies will have a huge edge in terms of AI usage. Larger companies and government agencies will lag behind a lot.

been speaking to a lot of friends who say they cannot use claude because companies they work for restrict usage or can't install it on company devices the bigger the company the less likely it is you can use it presumably all the big companies are spending tonnes of money on "researching how to use AI" rather than actually using it i think it gives startups like @rektdrinks a massive edge in this race by the time most big cos have concluded their research and implemented systems, we'll be millions of miles ahead

@AndreasSteno Also, looks like Tracy Shuchart did not even pass the generated text into the "AI text humanizer" - most AI detection tools say it is AI generated with high confidence.

Interestingly enough, just tested Gemini, ChatGPT and Grok and Gemini has a tendency to fall for this cobalt/antimony narrative, even the Thinking and Pro models, Grok fast partially fell for it, while 4.1 Thinking did not. ChatGPT 5.2 did not, neither Instant nor Thinking. For serious stuff forcing the model to use the web search + crosschecking with different models is super important. fwiw, it seems that the source of this false narrative is Gemini. Its Thinking and Pro models are super good at writing articles, so it seems the author of that viral article used Gemini and so the narrative was born :)
