@ZZZAnonymously Reguarding NEPS as a whole, I think Severian is the tiger and Seth is meant to be a cat. While there's no cat in the Chinese Zodiac itself, the cat is important to many versions it's myth, and is connected to the rat like how Seth plays a large part in Jane's special episode.

I felt like doing another one of these because I loved Cissia from the moment I saw her and people keep saying they don't like her design. I (probably) won't do anymore! And as usual, you don't have to like the final design, but understanding why they came to it might help you at least appreciate it!

@AllegrettoGGG @ZZZAnonymously Is she actually worth using with haramasa over other options, or is this just an excuse to use her? Even if it is just an excuse I'll probably take it, I've been desperately looking for an excuse to pull her for a while, but I also want to know if that's actually a decent team.

@castoricestrap I think this is more of a general "gacha game" thing than it is a "hoyo game" thing specifically. I've been playing FGO for something like 10 years and it's always done this too.

i like hoyo dialogue don’t get me wrong but one thing that ticks me off is how you’ll have two dialogue options but the mc just ends up saying both of them and i’ve noticed this is more prevalent in zzz

Does anyone actually bother to remember the names of each character’s point mechanics? Because I don’t lol. I just call them “meter” or “stacks”

@ZZZAnonymously If we do get some new Void Hunter (or equivalent) announced for a banner soon after SBilly, that also won't stop me from pulling him. If I end up really liking the hypothetical "new void Hunter" I'll just do my best to be able to pull both.

@ZZZAnonymously Void Hunters coming after them didn't stop me from pulling Lighter or Banyue. I didn't pull Hugo, but that wasn't because of Yixuan, but rather because I knew he wouldn't see any use when I already had Ellen who I like much more both as a character and mechanically.

I think "ZZZ sabotages male characters by putting them before Void Hunters," is only true if the following few precepts are also true: 1. All other things being equal, players are more likely to pull VHs than other units. 2. There is a large population of players who would've pulled male characters if their banners were more favorably placed. While #1 isn't up for debate, #2 I personally feel is mostly false. Again, so much ink is spilled trying to come to terms with why male banners 'don't perform' when it's a very simple reality that most people playing the game are exactly who you think. I personally skipped Hugo not because I liked Yixuan, but because I didn't care for Hugo. I pulled Lucia ahead of getting Banyue even, but after Banyue (and Shungus) were the Idols who I wanted more, so I skipped him too. I think most folks are similar; the playerbase is shaped exactly how you think, and their preferences are being revealed time and time again. I pulled Lighter on rerun because I liked Lighter. Now I barely even use him. On point #1, I think you only have yourself to blame if you pull whoever's strong over whoever appeals to you. I skipped Yixuan and Shungus and I've done 110k minimum in New Shiyu and 9-stars in every DA long before even 2.X began, with my most cost-heavy agent being M1R1 Miyabi, and most of my agents being Anomaly. I have no Rupture units except M6 Manato, who I never use. You aren't as compelled to pull Void Hunters as you think, and it is very amusing seeing folks treat their own lack of agency as something the game inflicted on them. You control the pulls you spend. You can just pull who you want irrespective of banner placement. If you're worried about clearing, get good. If you want to pull S-rank Billy, pull S-rank Billy. The Void Hunter level agent coming after him isn't going to do anything to his meta presence that VHs don't do to literally every other agent. I don't see folks talking about Alice either now that YSG blitzes every Physweak boss, but that hasn't made me enjoy playing Alice less in the least. You all have this weird idea in practice that the game is meant to 'cooperate' with you with regards to its monetization, that somehow the game is 'obligated' to make making your decisions on how to spend your pulls as easy and cheap as possible. The game wouldn't make money if it was lmao. I think what's most true in practice is that folks who want Billy will pull Billy, as was the case with Lighter, Harumasa, Hugo, Manato and Banyue. In much the same vein, the game will continue to act in ways that ensures profits. If you're skipping an agent you want for one you think you need, you owe it to yourself to investigate why you think that way. Get some agency. Grow a spine.

@NoSympathyyCA I honestly feel that alliances are kind of underused in general, so I strongly would have preferred to see these applied to alliances rather than, or in addition to, Clans.

@NoSympathyyCA Meanwhile, the guy that I play with the most is the head of a completely separate Clan, so we can't exactly get any of these Clan rewards for playing together. Personally I think the perfect solution would be to make them Alliance rewards rather than just Clan.

In Shadowgrapher the Clan System gets a much needed healthy update. And it's clearly heard that there is already complaints. Listen, if you CHOOSE to play Solo in a Multiplayer game, then what right are you to complain about not receiving INCENTIVISED CO-OP rewards?! [1/2]

@NoSympathyyCA In addition to that, while yes in theory being part of a clan is meant to be something community/multiplayer focused, I think Warframe probably does have a disproportionately large number of "solo Clans" compared to a lot of other games with Clan systems.

@horrorimus @highelven Revive your teammates in general, regardless of the difficulty of content. You don't know if some random person who went down maybe hasn't unlocked last gasp yet, or if they're just aren't enough enemies around at the moment for them to use it.

@highelven Also revive your teammates in hard content. Gripping people who do not make an attempt in steel path content or doing archimedia stuff. You leave me to die without an attempt at trying to revive me I'm blowing you up in my mind. At least you tried, man.

wf friends and enemies, is there any unspoken etiquette when you play with other humans about what you should/shouldn't be doing to make people's lives easier? the type you usually learn the more you play and make a fool of yourself as everyone laughs at you

@lizzyfaith Honestly I think it isn't even just simple "illiteracy" so much as it is a a stubborn refusal to even try to be literate. It's not that people can't read, or understand the things they're reading, it's that they refuse to. They choose willful ignorance over understanding.

@ZZZAnonymously No one who actually engages with wise as a character at all sees him that way, but any game with attractive characters that sees any level of popularity will draw in people who have no interest in actually engaging with those characters on any level beyond shipping or porn.

i feel like the game feels so much different if you pick belle over wise like ive picked belle and i cannot possibly see a situation where a harem exists, is it a different feel if you pick wise?

@zneshnaya For my part, I did compare wuwa to PGR rather than genshin, and the comparison to PGR is exactly what made it so disappointing to me.

Im always really surprised to see every game compared to genshin as if genshin is some sort of golden standard when it’s really just another game. You dont see them comparing pgr vs wuwa or arknights vs hsr no they all always only get faced off with genshin. Omg move on?

@lancezzoo @MmelsAltt I don't 100% agree with this because a buddy of mine has watched maybe 10 total anime in his life and has no other connection to otaku culture beyond that and still absolutely adores ZZZ. People like him I'm are rare I'm sure, but there are definitely some out there.

@MmelsAltt People's who understand weeb/otaku culture will love the game and understand most of elements in the game, People's who not understand about this culutre will complaining until the end
