I disagree with this take. Neymar Jr. may be an aesthetically pleasing footballer because of his skills, but his contributions when trophies are on the line have often been disappointing. He moved to Ligue 1, where many feel he focused more on building highlight moments than delivering when it truly mattered. To me, he comes across as more of a dribbling-focused player than a complete one. There are several players from this generation who I believe are better than him, including Robert Lewandowski, Karim Benzema, Luka Modrić, Salah, Mbape, Rooney, Kevin De Bruyne, and Vinícius Júnior.
