@BedrockFndn Interesting concept. Tokenized sealed packs could catch on, but I’d still want a hard look at liquidity and how the treasury is managed.

Price down metrics up for solana:METvsvVRapdj9cFLzq4Tr43xK4tAjQfwX76z3n6mWQL Can anyone show me another company doing nearly $33m annualized and growing with a token below $90m Extra points if - + $100m rev 2025 - Treasury with 10s of millions in it - over $15m in buybacks (4% +) - Growth in these conditions

Excited to announce that I’ve joined @sanctumso to lead investor relations. I first met Sanctum's CEO @soleconomist through covering the Solana ecosystem as a Blockworks journalist. Was immediately struck by the team’s strong integrity in an industry that’s often lacking it (believe it or not I’ve literally heard people say the team was “too honest”) For a major protocol on Solana, Sanctum is surprisingly misunderstood. Most think “liquid staking” but that is only half-right. Sanctum really is a liquidity infrastructure company more than anything else. More on that in time Some fun facts: • 4 founders launched Sanctum in 2021, and all 4 of them are still full-time today, never sold their tokens (yep) • 11 consecutive quarters of net TVL growth, #2 in Solana today x.com/sanctumso/stat… • Zero equity component ever Lots of big changes coming for Sanctum and CLOUD. Keep your eyes peeled, you don’t want to miss it
Sanctum ☁️@sanctumso

Sanctum has grown its SOL TVL for 11 consecutive quarters. This is what it feels like to build on @solana🤝

excited about the launch of internet rounds. it’s time for a new internet, one where we get to actually invest in those we believe in. the founders slated to raise on @stardotfun this week are elite - past exits, senior skillsets, high agency, and are working on inspiring and creative startups. if you are building with fire, grit and direction, i want to help you close your first round and get you in front of thousands of eyes. my dms are open.

recent debates around equity / token have been rooted in the opinion that the two are always adversarial to each other, or have to be mutually exclusive. @BedrockFndn links tokens to real company equity, giving tokenholders upside exposure while still giving founders the flexibility to raise from non-crypto vcs. awesome to see founders like @aaronjmars adopt the model - would not be surprised if aeon announces a venture round soon. they've got credible traction and a large community that goes to bat for them. any vc should see the edge there. ps: all star launches are equity-linked via bedrock
aeon ⭐@aeonframework

Aeon just became one of the first projects fully incorporated under the @BedrockFndn with a live token, a public treasury, and a constitution that ties the two together. @wagmiAlexander @Tokenomist_ai BB wallet: FzULv8pR9Rd7cyVKjVkzmJ1eqEmgwDnzjYyNUcEJtoG9 regd vesting: then shouldn't this be labelled unlocked tokens? tokens can't really be dilutive if they've NEVER been sold/transferred out since unlocks right? works for broadstrokes but nuance is where alpha lives :)

@pranave This is just value to and from the token. So yes if there is an address for buybacks that would help. And then vesting counts across the board, doesn’t matter if sold or not, but @Tokenomist_ai is the source there but feel free to point us to others.

A better framework for evaluating tokens is here. Token Revenue: A token's direct claim on protocol value — distributions, buybacks, and burns. Token Emissions: The costs token holders subsidize — public (incentives, etc) and private (unlocks, etc). dromos.kitchen/dashboards/net…

we're working on getting defillama correct, but for now blockworks and token terminal are the most accurate for fees for buybacks, we have a published buy back wallet that can be tracked as well for dilution, ecosystem tokens have not been sold, so that just leaves 18% supply being vested over 72 months. so dilution amount should be much smaller too hope that helps!

was agreeing with you as well! wanted to also introduce bedrock to you. for $MET, there is no equity, only the token. we have no VCs, investors, angels etc. revenues after costs are set aside in a treasury to be used to either grow the protocol or conduct discretionary buybacks. these buybacks have bought back ~4% if supply using ~14m usdc. token unlocks are 52% of total supply over 72 months fm tge. 48% was unlocked at tge. current float is 30%ish check out ir.meteora.ag

I'm sure there are elegant and nuanced ways to do it (dual token/equity structures) that'd fly over the heads of a lot of token investors (myself included). And maybe future regulatory reform will make it much easier or the superior way to structure things. I added to this post that I can forgive older tokens that needed certain "______ Labs" structures to literally not go to jail or protect IP, but have since unified value accrual behind their token. But for right now, tokenholders are already needing to vet smart contracts for actual technical counterparty risk. Expecting them to also be able to vet actual legal contracts/structures too is asking a lot. For every 1 good, well-meaning project I miss because of their dual equity structure, I probably dodge 99 bullets. I think every founder has an obligation to come out right now and explain exactly where value accrues if it doesn't accrue directly to tokenholders, and why that model/legal framework is necessary or more accretive to tokenholders. I'm willing to hear them out, but the reality is almost always that tokens were used as on chain incentives/gas tokens while value accrues to VC equity holders. If that was a necessary evil to get early stage funding and bootstrap liquidity, I'd want to see a concrete plan in place to re-align behind tokenholders, otherwise, there shouldn't be any tokenholders.
Pranave | Meteora@pranave

@koolkrypto223 its actually easy to structure it such that equity is not privileged above tokens but no one wants to have that conversation
