We have presumption of “innocence of accused” as one of the foremost principle of criminal law. Even in strict liability offences like NDPS Act or food Adulteration Act, or POCSO Act, the prosecution is never absolved from proving the basic facts first. @DeepikaBhardwaj

Problem a lot of women & girls face today is lethargy of the system after being victimized. Problem a lot of men & boys face today is no hearing by the system, no laws for them after being victimized. Additionally, they're often falsely accused by same woman who assaulted them

The legal profession must gear up to face the technological challenges thrown at us by COVID-19. COVID has hastened use of technology in judiciary by 5 years. Exceptions, like online courts & e-argument are new normal. Brace technology or else become irrelevant. @DeepikaBhardwaj
